Create a Ledger Transaction

To immediately post a ledger transaction upon creation, set the status to posted.

string

(Optional) A free-form internal description, up to 1000 characters.

ledger_entries
array of objects
required

An array of ledger entries. A maximum of 1000 entries is allowed per transaction.

ledger_entries*
date

Timestamp in ISO 8601 format with up to 6 decimal places. Defaults to the time of database insertion if not provided.

string

(Optional) A user-defined unique identifier.

metadata
object

Metadata to attach to the ledger transaction. Must be a JSON object containing string keys and values.
