Complete reference of every PayMongo role and its permissions — what each role can do and which to assign to your team.

PayMongo has a set of predefined roles — standard roles available to all accounts and additional roles to manage linked accounts.

Standard roles

Managing linked accounts roles

Shared access

Regardless of their assigned roles, most team members can also:

  • View and edit their own profile settings
  • View business information
  • Toggle between live and test mode

The Manage Users, View Wallet, and linked accounts roles do not include the live and test mode toggle. The View Wallet and linked accounts roles also do not include profile settings or business information access.
