Upgrading your PayMongo account's tier is the first step toward accepting payments, managing transactions and funding your business. All merchants start with a Basic PayMongo account (Tier 1) and can unlock full features by upgrading to a Fully Verified account (Tier 2).

Tier 1

Limited features — Accept payments via QR Ph; Transfer funds between PayMongo Wallets.

Tier 2

Access all payment methods: cards, e-wallets, online banking, BNPL, Disburse to external banks and e-wallets via InstaPay and PESONet.

Upgrading to a Tier 1 Basic Account

Login to your PayMongo account.
Click on the "Enable In Store QR Ph" .
Click on "Get Started".
Fill in the details in the following pages.
Sign the Statement of Acceptance and click "Activate".

Upgrading to a Tier 2 Fully Verified Account

Login to your PayMongo account.
Click on "Complete Verification".
Submit your business documents on the Activation Page.

You’ll receive an email once your account is approved and upgraded to Tier 2, or if there are clarifications or missing documents.
