Overview
PayMongo Platforms enables businesses to build, scale, and white-label payment and financial service ecosystems. Platforms can onboard sub-accounts, collect payments, split and route funds, and provision wallets seamlessly—all under their brand.
Businesses such as marketplaces, logistics, and SaaS platforms use Platforms to manage payments and payouts between customers, sellers, delivery riders, and other entities in their ecosystem.
Key Concepts

| Parent Account | Your platform organization that onboards child accounts, manages them and may act on their behalf. |
| Child Account | A sub-account under the parent (merchant, partner, seller, rider) created and managed by your platform. The child has its own identity and status in the system. |
| Payment Splitting | The process of dividing a single payment between multiple parties—typically the platform and one or more child accounts. |
| Acting as Child | The parent uses its API key (and additional headers or parameters) to execute payment operations in the context of a child account. |

Payment Processing and Splitting
