Overview

As part of PayMongo’s KYC (Know Your Customer) process and Tier 2 account activation, you are required to submit a valid government-issued ID. This verification ensures compliance with BSP regulations and helps protect both your business and your customers.


Accepted IDs

You can submit 1 primary ID or 3 secondary IDs.

Primary IDs

  • Driver’s License
  • SSS/UMID ID
  • PRC ID
  • Firearm License
  • Philippine Passport
  • PhilSys National ID (front & back) or ePhilID
  • Foreign nationals: Passport and Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)

Secondary IDs

  • NBI Clearance
  • Police ClearanceD
  • PhilHealth ID
  • TIN ID
  • Pag-IBIG ID (digitized)
  • Postal ID (digitized)
  • Barangay Clearance
  • Voter’s ID

Guidelines

  • Ensure all submitted IDs are clear, valid, and not expired
  • Name and birthdate must match the business registration documents (if applicable)
  • For partnerships and corporations, submit IDs of the authorized representative or relevant incorporators
