The Scores section in PayMongo Protect provides a view of all fraud risk scoring results and risk assessments for your organization’s transactions. Here, you can analyze how each transaction was evaluated by PayMongo’s machine learning engine, review the associated risk scores, and understand the decisions made based on those scores.

Best Practices

Regular Monitoring:
Check the Scores section regularly to stay updated on the overall risk profile of your payment traffic.
Optimize Rules:
Use insights from score distributions and decision reasons to adjust your custom rules, reducing false positives and improving fraud prevention accuracy.
Investigate Anomalies:
Investigate transactions with unusually high scores or unexpected decision reasons to understand and address new fraud patterns.
